Cherry Blossom Alert: DC's Tenpenh Celebrates the Cherry Blossoms with a Special Menu

Courtesy of George Alexander, 2006.From March 29-April 12, 2008 Chef Cliff Wharton of TenPenh (1001 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, 202-393-4500) will be offering a four-course tasting menu during dinner hours in honor of the Cherry Blossoms. Price is $45; $55 with wine & sake pairings. TenPenh will also be offering a Japanese inspired lunch special throughout the festival Monday-Friday, served 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. For reservations or more information visit www.tenpenh.com or call 202-393-4500.

Additionally, Chef Cliff Wharton will offer on the festival’s opening day, Saturday, March 29th, (11 a.m.-1 p.m.),The Cherry Blossom Cooking Class, to teach attendees to prepare the dishes in the tasting menu.
