DC Shakespeare Company’s Free Performances and Conversations

Wednesday April 30, 2008

Happenings at the Harman--the Forum of Sidney Harman Hall at 610 F St. NW, Washington, DC—provides visitors an up close and personal opportunity with the performers and performances at the Harman Center for the Arts as well as throughout the metro-D.C. community. These free conversations and performances are held on Wednesdays from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. and feature leading artists and thinkers. No reservations are required and seating is first-come, first-served. Box lunches are available for purchase for $10 if desired and may be reserved in advance through the Harman Hall Box Office at 202-547-1122.

Two upcoming events in May include one on May 7, 2008 at 12:00 p.m. entitled Summer Opera with artists of tomorrow performing selections from its coming season; and on May 14, 2008 at 12:00 a.m., Hesperus, the eclectic early music group, whose repertoire spans the medieval, Renaissance and Baroque periods, makes its Harman Center for the Arts debut.
