Spotlight: Arlington National Cemetery

Tuesday May 6, 2008

With Memorial Day right around the corner, today is a good day to place the spotlight on Arlington National Cemetery. Arlington National Cemetery is one of the solemn must see highlights of Washington, DC. More than four million visitors come to pay their respects to the fallen men and women who so valiantly gave their service, and in many cases their lives, to defend the people of the United States. When planning your visit to the cemetery, your first stop should be to the Visitor Center located at the cemetery’s entrance. There you will find maps (and trust me you will need one to navigate) guidebooks, exhibits, a bookstore, restrooms and information services which is very helpful if you are trying to locate a grave.
