National Museum of Crime & Punishment to Open

The Newseum is about to relinquish its title as the new kid on the block. On May 23, 2008, Washington, DC will be getting another new museum called the National Museum of Crime & Punishment. Located in DC’s Chinatown neighborhood (575 7th Street NW) and accessible via metro, the museum is dedicated to the history of crime, forensic science, and crime scene investigation. The National Museum of Crime and Punishment is sure to be a favorite of anyone who has a passion for the legal system or those who simpy enjoy Law & Order. The museum is co-owned by John Morgan, a businessman from Florida and John Walsh, host of America's Most Wanted.
