The International Spy Museum (800 F Street, NW, Washington, DC, Gallery Place/Chinatown Metrorail Station) is hosting a lecture entitled: Failure of Intelligence:The Decline and Fall of the CIA on Thursday, August 28, 2008 from 12 noon to 1 p.m.

The discussion will explore a series of intelligence failures that have turned a harsh spotlight and turned up the heat on the CIA and the intelligence community. Melvin A. Goodman, a senior fellow at the Center for International Policy with more than 40 years of experience in the CIA, the State Department’s Bureau of Intelligence and Research, and the Department of Defense, will lead this discussion using his new book, Failure of Intelligence, as the springboard. After the discussion, buy a ticket and see the museum. You won't be disappointed.
