Prepare for Inaugural Celebrations on January 20, 2009

Wednesday November 5, 2008

The presidential election is over and the US has a new President-Elect, which means DC is going to start gearing up for the Presidential Inauguration. The week long celebration takes place the week of January 20, 2009 and hotels book quickly. In fact, the Willard, which is right along the parade route, is already reporting being fully booked for the event.

And members of the public who want tickets to the swearing-in will have to ask their senators or representatives. If you plan on being in DC in January for this special occasion, be sure to plan ahead because the city will be bursting with visitors.
