The Newseum Presents A Dramatic Reading of "Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus"

The Newseum on Penn Ave in Washington, DC

On Saturday, December 6, 2008 at 2:30 p.m. take in a special reading of "Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus" at the Newseum's Knight TV Studio located on level 3. Actor Robert Prosky will read the reprinted newspaper editorial turned holiday favorite that first appeared in the New York Sun in 1897. There will also be music from singers from American University. And in a surprise visit, Santa Claus will bring gifts for all. This special event will be repeated on Saturday, Dec. 13, 2008. Seating is on a space-available basis.
