Mark your calendar for the 2009 Comcast Outdoor Film Festival in Ben Brenman Park, (4800 Brenman Park Dr., Alexandria, VA). The festival takes place July 17 & 18 with movies beginning at dusk. Local restaurants open at 7 p.m. Movies begin at dusk so bring a blanket, a picnic and our favorite concession candies and enjoy July 17th's screening of "Twilight" and July 18th's screening of "Kung Fu Panda". Isn’t it the other way around? Kung Fu Panda is being shown on Fri night, with Twilight on Sat night? Can someone who knows confirm the actual schedule?

Can you bring your own food/beer to the movie? Is that what they mean by picnic?
Yes, you can bring your own food to the movie. Additionally there will food items for sale. In the past Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream, Chick-Fil-A and Domino’s Pizza have had vendors there.
