AT&T National Golf Tournament

By , About.com Guide

AT&T National takes place at the Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, Md. on July 2-6, 2008. While Tiger Woods won't be there this year, defending champion KJ Choi will be among the 120 golfers playing, as well as Rocco Mediate, Anthony Kim, Stuart Appleby, Zach Johnson, Davis Love III, J.B. Holmes, and Ryuji Imada to name a few.

The Congressional Country Club is par-72 course covering 7,255 yards. The course has played host to four majors--two U.S. Opens (1964 and 1997), one PGA Championship (1976) and the U.S. Senior Open (1995). Be sure to check-out the schedule of events to plan your day and bring lots of sunscreen.

Tickets

Tickets are $25 for a week day ticket and $30 for a weekend ticket and can be purchased at Harris Teeter or Washington Golf Centers.

Parking

There is no general parking in close proximity to the golf course and most of the surrounding parking is by permit only. The parking lots can be expensive, so I recommend using public transportation.
