Penn Quarter Arts on Foot Festival 2009 is an annual day-long festival that celebrates visual and performance arts. Festival goers will enjoy visual art exhibits, food demonstrations, concerts and children's activities that include designing a costume for a play. This is very much a community festival with involvement from neighborhood restaurants, museums, art galleries and theaters. The Festival takes place on September 12, 2009 and runs from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. Festival participants are encouraged to stroll through Penn Quarter, eat, shop and enjoy this vibrant atmosphere.
