Old Town Alexandria Food & Wine Festival is part of Virginia Wine Month and provides visitors an opportunity to sample wine from some of the best Virginia vineyards in the region.
Highlights include Vintner Dinners in restaurants all around Old Town, the King Street Sip 'n Stroll, tastings of Virginia's locally-grown world class wine and delectable culinary seminars in grand tasting ballrooms at the Old Town Alexandria Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn Hotels. Additionally Lauren DeSantis from Capital Cooking Show will be conducting a seminar about cooking with wine.
Dates and Times: October 9-11, 2009 from 10 a.m.-6 p.m., followed by Vintner Dinners
