Passport to the World is a New Year’s Eve International Gala hosted by the Professionals in the City on December 31, 2009. This New Year's Eve party will take place at the Washington Hilton (1919 Connecticut Ave)and features an evening complete with an open bar, Salsa, Merengue, ballroom and swing dance lessons, different color bracelets for singles & couples, henna, seated four minute dating for singles, caricaturists, champagne, balloon drop, comedy show and more.

Last year over 3,000 people attended this party and tickets go fast. General Admission is $99 and VIP is $129. The party starts at 10:30 p.m. and will be rocking until 3 a.m. Click here to buy tickets.

What To Expect

The ballroom will be transformed into themed rooms that touch all the continents and bring all your favorite dance music to life, including a Latin Fusion Salsa Room, Bay of Biscay Nightfall Ball, Italy's Sleepless in Venice, Austria's Dancing Like the Stars and Bollywood Hills Underground Club.

Additionally all attendees are invited to join on January 1 in McClellan's Sports Bar, the hotel's famous pub, to watch the bowl games. And during the gala, revelers can watch the Peach Bowl (the Chick-fil-A Bowl) in the pub.
