Museum Highlights: The National Museum of Natural History literally offers a world of wonders to explore.
From diamonds to dinosaurs to jazz, visitors to the museum are sure to find an array of fascinating exhibits, demonstrations and programs. Whether gazing at the more than billion year old Hope Diamond, touching the actual bones of a dinosaur or enjoying Friday night jazz, the National Museum of Natural History is all about "understanding the natural world and our place in it."

Public Transportation: The Metro stop is Blue/Orange Line - Federal Triangle
Parking: Free on-street parking for cars and vans on the National Mall along Jefferson and Madison Drives is limited, and regulations are enforced, including the 3-hour maximum. There are commercial lots and garages nearby.
Accessibility: The wheelchair accessible entrance to the building is located at 10th Street and Constitution Avenue NW. The Mall side of the museum is not accessible to individuals in wheelchairs and those who cannot climb stairs readily.
Restaurants and Shops: There are two restaurants and two museum shops on the premises.
