Giant panda cub, Tai Shan, and his mother, Mei Xiang, acclimate to their new home at the Fujifilm Giant Panda Habitat, the gateway to Asia Trail. Tai Shan, the National Zoo's beloved celebrity giant panda, celebrated his first birthday on July 9, 2006.
