Cheap Accommodations
Washington, DC has plenty of luxury hotels, but it also has options that won’t cost you a month’s rent. Here are five inexpensive accommodation options for visitors to Washington, DC.

Free Things to Do and See in Washington, DC
Many of the museums, memorials, monuments, and favorites sites like the White House and the US Capitol are free.

Metro
Aside from walking everywhere, Metro is an inexpensive way to get around the city. If you need a car for one or two of your planned sightseeing events consider ZipCar where you can use the car for an hour or the whole day for a reasonable rate.

Free Spring and Summer Concerts
One of my favorite things about DC in the summer months is that there is always a free concert to go to.
