The Hotel Washington

Once you have had your fill of oppulence at the Willard it is time to head over to the Hotel Washington. Head west on Pennsylvania Ave towards Fifteenth Street, NW and turn right at Fifteenth Street. This building was once the Corcoran Office Building where Whitman worked as a copyist for the Army Paymaster during the war. The hotel closed its doors in 2007.
