Freddie Mac and Magic Johnson Team Up for Hoops for the Homeless

Want to shoot some hoops in the presence of Magic Johnson and Washington Wizards Gilbert Arenas? Then mark your calendar for Saturday, September 13, 2008 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. when these legends team up with Freddie Mac’s Hoops for the Homeless at the Verizon Center (601 F St, NW, Washington, DC 20004).

Magic Johnson will be on hand from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. if you are hoping to get a glimpse of the basketball star. Additionally there will be changes for autographs and prizes. There will entertainment for the kids, including a slam dunk clinic and Hoops of course! Helping the Homeless and having fun in the process is a great experience for the whole family so don’t miss it. Tickets are $5 for adults and children 12 and under are free.
