The Savoy Suites Hotel located in Georgetown and The Carlyle Suites Hotel near Washington, DC's Dupont Circle are rewarding guests who volunteer their time and talent at hometown organizations. Book your summer vacation at either of these two DC hotels and you have the opportunity to pay for a portion of your visit with the hours of service that you volunteer to organizations. For every 5 hours you volunteer, these two hotels will refund 50% of your room bill per night.
What if you simply can't serve and want to contribute? For guests who are not able to donate their personal time, the hotel will donate dollars. The "Serve America and Stay in DC" program allows guests to donate 50% of their room bill to a community service organization of their own choosing. Now your vacation will not only make you feel good, but it will be benefiting others.
Here's how the program works:
- Book your reservation at www.SavoySuites.com or
www.CarlyleSuites.com under the "SERVE AMERICA and STAY IN DC" package. Complete 5 hours of community service (per room night confirmed) at the organization of your choosing and receive a 50% refund of your room rate(excluding taxes). Certain restrictions do apply and you'll be required to provide proof of your community service, but it's as easy as that.
- If you choose to donate the dollars instead, book your reservation at www.SavoySuites.com or www.CarlyleSuites.com under the "SERVE AMERICA & STAY IN DC" package and the hotels will contribute 50% of your room rate (excluding taxes) to any volunteer organization of your choosing located on VolunteerMatch.org.
