Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts is located in Vienna, VA and is a partnership between the Wolf Trap Foundation and the U.S. National Park Service. The 100-acre site features everything from pop, blues, orchestra, opera, dance and theatre.
Wolf Trap's founder, the late Catherine Filene Shouse, donated 100 acres of her Vienna, Virginia farmland to the U.S. Government, as well as funds for construction of a 6,800-seat indoor/outdoor theater.
The Filene Center
The Filene Center houses over 90 performances annually from late May to early September. An open-air performance pavilion, visitors will enjoy a variety of programs. In addition to house seating there is also lawn seating, and there is nothing like enjoying a performance under the stars during the summer months.
The Barns at Wolf Trap
The Barns at Wolf Trap is open from October to May and is where the summer Wolf Trap Opera Company performs.
The Children's Theater-in-the-Woods
The Children's Theater-in-the-Woods is designed just for the kids (K through Sixth grades) and presents performance from late June to August.
While Wolf Trap has parking, it is limited. So plan to come early if you want to grab a spot.
